Empowering the health and well-being of young people in a safe, youth friendly environment

Number 10 Southland Youth One Stop Shop Charitable Trust opened its doors in 2008 to respond to the needs of rangatahi in Murihiku Southland.  For 15 years we have offered strengths-based, wrap around clinical and social services from our premises at 10 Deveron Street, Invercargill. 


From humble beginnings Number 10 SYOSS now employ 15 staff, and contract two GPs and a counselor. In the 16 years since opening, over 10,500 young people have registered to access our services. 

We're a Youth One Stop Shop

We are one of 10 Youth One Stop Shops throughout the motu, and one of only two in the South Island. Youth One Stop Shops are community-based health and wellbeing services that are easily accessible, provide holistic, integrated care and are experts in youth development.


We're about rangatahi 

We offer services to rangatahi aged 10-24, in a strengths-based, safe, youth-friendly environment.


We're about hauora 

Rangatahi can access clinical and social services through Number 10, with nurses, doctors, youth mentors, health improvement practitioners, health coaches, counselors and transition support workers all on site.


We're about free services 

With the exception of nurses and doctors for some visa holders, all services and programmes offered by Number 10 are free.
